Fractionation

It separates fats and oils into more solid and more liquid fractions with respect to their different melting points.

The successive stages of fractionation are as follows:

Cooling oil to supersaturation in crystallizers to form the nuclei for crystallization.
Progressive growth of the crystalline and liquid phases.
Separation of the crystalline and liquid phases by membrane filters/gravity filters.

Due to our effective cooling method, the separation of crystalline and liquid phases is highly efficient.
